Saturday, Dec. 1;      10 AM – 12 Noon. At Maupin Avenue Presbyterian Church, lower level. We provide the wire; you bring one string of Christmas lights per ball you want to make. Gloves are helpful. It’s not hard! Free. A non-perishable item for Rowan Helping Ministries is appreciated.

This year, Milford Hills United Methodist Youth have distributed grocery bags throughout the neighborhood. You are being asked to contribute non perishable items for Rowan Helping Ministries. Please put your filled bag in front of your house on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4. This is a different schedule from prior years, but food goes to the same location. Thank you for your generosity.

Our annual Halloween event begins at 5 PM at the intersection of Mitchell and Blair with a parade led by a patrol car. Then awards for best Costumes. Categories are: Cutest (under 3 years), Scariest; Most Original; Best Movie/TV; Best Literary/History; Most Eco-Friendly; Best Family or Group; Best Float (wagon/stroller). Mitchell Avenue will be closed from Crosby to Jordan from about 4:30 to 7 PM for the safety of the children. We encourage Trick or Treat to begin after the awards are given, approximately 5:30 PM.
